JD350 TRACKS KEEP COMING OFF

Post by rodger » Sun Aug 21, 2011 3:27 pm

Hi All,
After replacing the clutches etc. to get my JD350 turning it now keeps throwing its tracks and they are very tight. I am guessing as they show wear on the link pins that I need new tracks. Does anyone have an idea whether it is better to fix tracks or buy newer ones.
If buying newer ones does anyone have any for sale?
If fixing any ideas of things that have worked for you. i.e. where to weld what?

The cost difference between repinning your old tracks and buying new ones is close enough to make repinning pointless.
Supply is sporadic, but if you are interested in new rails, I can check availability on more, just sold the set I had on hand.

I am interested in seeing what is available.... what is the cost of repinning and how much did you move the last set for?
Sounds like repinning would be a bugger of a job.

Only way to do it is with a track press.
The set of rails I just sold was $1800 for new sealed, interlock rails.
