gentlemen, first let me say what a neet sit this is. people helping other people. i am impressed. i just purchased a 350 crawler gas loader for 5 grand. under carriage looks almost new. starts and runs like a kitten. after i got her home i ran it for a couple of hours pushing trees out. now the problem. when using the reverser there is a long hesitation before it will start to move, in either direction. from what i have found there is a pressure switch and a filter. no clue where they are located. it is full of oil. clutch works fine. no strange noise from transmission or reverser. any help is greatly appreicated.

There is an adjustment on the reverser, accessed from the bottom of the crawler, that adjusts how fast the reverser engages the forward and reverse clutch packs after you move the reverser lever.
Everything is well described in the Service Manual for your machine, SM-2063.
The Service Manual should be your first purchase for your crawler.
thanks to both of you, i am shopping for a manual. i will up date asap.

Welcome to the crawler world. I agree that this site is about the best. Lavoy continues to do a great job keeping it free of clutter, spammers, and people starting trouble that do not need to be on here.

ken & lavoy i feel like a dumy. after a little research i i found i now have a 450 track loader. i wish i would have listed that info in my first request for help. it is a 4 cylinder gas. i see 350's did not have a 4 cylinder in them. also where can you locate the serial number?KenP wrote:Make sure you are positive what model your 350 is before shopping for a manual. Based on your description as a 350, SM-2063 is the right service manual. If, on the other hand, the machine is a later version, such as a 350B or 350C model, you'll need a different manual.
If you're not sure, you can check the serial number against the list on this forum and confirm.
Deere will sell you the manual for your machine on-line. You can get it as a download, on a disc, or as a hard printed pub.
