Just wanted to drop a thanks to everyone on here. I have read a lot of posting over the last years and learned a bunch. Well it finally came time to have to adjust my right clutch the other day. Followed the JD manual and it works perfect now.
The clutch linkage didn't take any adjustment. Just the brake band. And now it all makes sense.
When I first bought the dozer the right final had a lot of water (actually ice since it was winter). Used it for a little while after thawing/draining/drying. Only thing I figure is all that moisture rusted the brake a little. So after using it and cleaning the rust off, it needed a little adjustment.
No worries now, as I park it inside and don't have swampy land.
Thanks again,
Rick
