JD 350 track bolts

Post by kwtownsend » Sat Sep 10, 2011 3:54 pm

What is the bolt size that holds the track plates on for a JD 350 crawler? The parts catalog has part #T-40535 (or T-14612) listed, but it doesn't say what size. Is it a specific JD bolt or can I use any grade 8 bolt?

I need to tighten the rock guard and seem to remember that I need to remove the track plates first and throught I had better have some replacement bolts on hand.

How about the nuts? T-14612

Thanks
-Keith

This was a pretty gopod thread on the subject- especially look at the threads in the middle that I link to.
