Post by dozerman58 » Sat Sep 24, 2011 7:38 pm

Have a 450c dozer ,builds up pressure in fuel tank. Should there be a relief valve ,line ? No vent holes in cap,is correct jd part #. Any advice in locating this would be greatly appreciated!!! Hello to all :D glad to be here

Look into the fuel tank filler hole and you should find a small steel tube coming through the bottom of the tank to nearly the top of the tank this is the vent and can some times plug up .I have put mechanics wire up it to open the hole .I know that is pushing the crap inside the tank but change the fuel filter within twenty hours later and you should be good.Works for me but my wife says my middle name should be crude.Digitup.
