track tightning

Hey anyone!!! After loosining the track adjuster all the way, i started pumping grease into the adjuster, and all the grease is coming out the bleed hole on the bottom of the adjuster.
IO read the manual, but the directions do not seem clear to me.What am i doing wrong??

i loosened up the adjuster till it bottomed out.....(did it with the blade) just to get the track put together.....now the adjuster wont fill with grease.

i have a '74 350B.

Ken, thats exactly what i did.....I didnt realize there was a ball in there.and of course, now i cant find it.......back to deere....
