Not even close, 350 will if you change sprockets.

350 sprockets

Post by ld7mile » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:17 am

Will Jd 350 sprockets bolt to a JD 1010, or do they have to be welded? How much should I have to pay for a new set of 350 chains, and sprockets and where is the best place to buy them?

If I did I tend to think Lavoy might consider banning me. Yet I like this board too much, so I will walk the straight and narrow path.

I would have to think about it a while before I welded the sprockets onto any crawler, if that is what you mean.

I think LD meant whether there are 350 sprocket rims that are welded to the center of a 1010 sprocket hub, and I think the answer is yes but you would need to confirm with others such as Lavoy to see if they are still available.

Lavoy is always my first stop for parts, but shipping 350 rails can get pretty expensive so I would first check with Lavoy on 350 rail availability and shipping costs and go from there.

No, 350 sprockets will not bolt up, but you can cut the rim off and weld them on your 1010 sprockets.
