There are pressures that can be adjusted. However in my experience these reversers are either working or they aren't. I have had little success in adjusting the pressures to cure an ill in the reverser. It seemed to always lead to a clutch pack or a bearing or a seal or something other than merely adjusting the pressures. Some of these other guys may have some better advice on this. I'm just saying what my experience has been.
I'm curious first to see what your filter looks like and to make sure you don't have something simple.
If you have to go further, then a good shop manual is going to be a necessity. I would have to have a manual to go through the process of checking pressures. It's been too long sense I've done one.
I've given some thought about the water you had in this machine. I'm wondering if you may have a valve stuck in the reverser valve body. But lets see what you find first and then we will go from there.

Jeff, Ken is right, you really need to get you a set of manuals for this machine. A tech manual is priceless.

I found 2 manuals. They wanted $250 at one place, and $57 at the other. I will order the $57 one it's SM2063. In nthe mean time I went to the local dealer and got a new filter. The counterman seemed to know these machines quite well. He could not get a manual, but suggested I start driving it around a bit and working the steering clutches a bit. He thinks there may be rust and moisture in the discs. He thinks simply running it a bit may help if there are sticky or rusty parts. The fluid is very clear now in the trans. and pretty clear in the reverser. I am going to change the reverser filter and see what happens.
I'm a pretty fair wrench, just unfamiliar with dozers.
Thanks everyone for all the help, and I will post as I go.

OK, I thought I saw on another thread where that was the one you had reccomended to a C owner. Also the other one they had was for B models, so I took it to mean that it covered the 350 and 350C. Anyway, they are certainly proud of it. $150 for a download seems a bit high. I'm going to check a few places for a print copy, which I prefer anyway. Thanks for the correct number.

BTW I didn't see any obstructions in the clutch linkage so far either

Thanks,
Jeff
