identify my crawler
just purchased a jd crawler would like to figure out model & year to get service manual only numbers i could find were on right side of dash & read sne7350001475t any help appreciated
Could you post a photo of your new crawler? We may be able to help you quicker that way as the serial numbers on many models are not located on the dash. You may have found the serial number for the loader attachment, if a crawler loader.
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment
RE: Identify my Crawler
I also bought an older 450 track loader.
SNE7450002071T
It was also on the dash.
I found a link somewhere here on the message board to the JD Manuals, you can pay to download the service manual or they let you look at the first 5 pages for free. The SN information is there in the first few pages. It says for early loaders the serial number plate for the loader is located on the loader frame beside the tractor instrument panel.
It tells how to decode the numbers, but does not seem to work for my model.
Also somewhere in the FAQ section there is a list of serial numbers for given years. These numbers are too low for the list???
