JD 350 Hyd Direction Reverser

Post by TimberKing » Tue Dec 27, 2011 4:03 pm

I have this old 350 Loader. Last winter I installed all new Steering clutches and brakes.
2 Weeks ago. I was using the unit and it stop moving in Fwd and or Rev. When shifting into Fwd or Rev it will just sit there and chatter. The tracks will move a little, But that's it.. It's almost like it's not going all the way in gear..
I was able to use the winch to get it out of the woods and get it back to the header with the skidder.
My buddy came buy and did a pressure, He said there was no pressure. But he also said being there's no pressure that the winch will not work either.. Could this just be something wrong with the Control Valve Assembly?
Can I get some of your thoughts on this?
Thanks
Dwight

Ken, I'm starting to think my friend didn't stop to look at it. Being the fact that the track move a little in Fwd and Rev.Either way it looks like the tranny will be coming out. You don't think it something like the shift shafts or the forks?
