new idlers 350c dozer
My question is can you remove old idlers to put new ones on without separating track at master pin. Have all ready replaced chains - sprockets and track adjusters. Should of done this all together at one time but trying to pay for as I go. Only about ten hours on it since chains added. It,s a 1975 350c we only use it at camp in southern vt. If it not for this web sight I,d be totally lost. Thanks

Hi !
I have not much experience on this issue about idlers but I can't see any other way than to seperate the trask to remove the idler , because even if you can remove both bolt of the idler retainer you wouuldn't be able to remove the idler shaft .
look at the attached pics here and it will give a good idea ( I think at least )
Hopefully it will help !
