450c
I have a 1977 450c and is slow to move forward or reverse even after changing all filters/fluids. I have read where changing the hyd. pump is the most common repair. I need to know which pump; the one in front of the radiator or the one in the trans., case where I would need to remove engine etc., to repair. Just need direction and do not want to spend $$ guessing. Thanks David
The pump in front of the engine is for hydraulic controls for either the loader or blade.
You might try running the brake/clutch adjustments for each track per the manual (if you don't have one download it!). It's a long shot but worth the effort before you pull the engine and/or transmission.
You cleaned the filter screen that is in the side of the transmission down low on the right side correct?

Hyd pump
Yes it is clean. I will adjust and try that before removing engine. I may have a winter project. Thanks (This machine has all new undercarriage and runs out great)
