Could anyone tell me if the gear on the axle shaft is a press fit.
Thanks.

What parts do you need? I have some new parts for 350, might be able to get some used.

I need brake drum and maybe the axle shaft. I'm also trying to find a complete final drive bearing and seal kit. Gulfsouth has it for $360.00 but I could do it chepaer if I could cross the JD numbers.

Bearing kit price doesn't sound too bad. You might be suprised at an outside suppliers price, they may not beat the dealer as bad as you think.

Just food for thought, make sure you are getting the same spline shaft as the spline on your bull gear. I have a parts machine and went to enter- change the finals, bull gear and pinion, and the shaft and other bull gear were a different spline. They changed the splines from the early models to a different spline count in the later models. The spacers in between the bull gear are what take up all your movement so you should have very little movement if any on your bull gear. That is if I remember correctly!
