Just bought a JD 450B. Any suggestions where to get a service manual. I found one at http://www.jensales.com/John-Deere-450B ... ce-Manual- but it was $150.
Also do I need a specific manual for 450B or will any 450 do?
Thanks

John Deere Bookstore sells them on line for 34.00 as a download that you can save on your computer. Comes as an e-mail, although It took me a while to figure it out... they create a library for you on their site called "my library" and you down load it from there. You will have it right away. Print it all out (I get it done at a print shop) and put it in a binder, or just look stuff up on the computer. For 75.00 they will send you the printed version. Plus shipping.
Search John Deere Bookstore. You will have to register on their site, it is easy, I think it is just your e-mail address and create a password. I have never has any junk mail from this site.
Also available are all the parts and owners manuals. cheap.
YES, you need the 450b version.
