Thumb for Model 93 backhoe?

Howdy gang,

My JD450 has a Model 93 backhoe on it. On the forearm, there's a reinforced bore about 2' back from the wrist joint that looks like it might have been the upper mount for a thumb cylinder!

I would like to have a thumb on this hoe.

Has anyone even seen such a thing on a Model 93?
