For Sale: 1973 John Deere 450B Loader with Backhoe - $14928

Post by srshaw3 » Mon Apr 22, 2013 12:29 pm

I bought this last year to develop my driveway.
I had both steering clutches replaced as well as a few bearings that need replacement.
I have also replace many of the hoses.
The backhoe is currently off, and has an issue, it barely moves.
I put batteries back in it (after the winter) yesterday, and all seems well.

I have need for a good 4wd tractor to maintain the driveway now, plow or snowblower, box scraper, as well as other general uses. I would prefer something 40+hp, but will consider anything that will provide at least some of the functions I need. DIESEL ONLY.

I am willing to negotiate/trade-up/trade-down, etc.

You might want to post this in the "Little Shop O Deeres" forum as not everyone that may be interested may read this forum for buy/sell/trade.

I added the big service record receipts from 2012, @$5500 & $3000 in parts and labor in 5 pages of receipts at http://928racing.net/jd450b/

I am a realist, I know cost does not equal value, but I could also use it for a while and at this point it is unlikely to diminish in value for a while :)

It is tarped, with the steering levels propped up, as directed in the owner's manual, when not in use.
