Hello. The owners manual recommends straight 30W oil for summer use.
They recommend multi grade 5w20 for cold starts.
Would anyone out there have used multigrade in summer without problems?
Ideally I would like to run a 0W40 partial synthetic year round. I use that in my other equipment and its easy to have one source. The 0W40 has better hot weather lubrication in heat then 15W40 and has instant pressure at start up under all temps. In Alberta we have temp ranges from 105F to -40F, the 0W40 covers that range.
Thanks for any help.

Run the 0W-40, I run synthetic in multiple machines, temps similar to yours.

0-40 semi synthetic oil
You might want to confirm the oil manufacturers recommended temp range. Petro-Can 0-30 used to not recommend use above +20 degrees C. 5-40 full synthetic (Rotella T6) has worked well for my diesel engines in far NW BC
