350D Replacing 3rd gear

Post by airguardian » Sun Feb 09, 2014 7:25 pm

I searched this site for guidance on third gear replacement on a 350D. I don't see any related topics. Trying to find out if both tracks will need to be removed to replace the gear or will I be removing the engine assembly? If I tear down to replace the gear are there other items I may want to consider replacing while machine is apart?

Thanks,

Tim

In a nutshell, one way or the other, the trans will need to be completely removed as well as everything bolted to it.
If I was that far in, I would do all bearings, seals, gaskets, etc.
