JD 350D Steering Issue

Post by airguardian » Sat Apr 12, 2014 5:02 pm

1987 305D dozer experiencing more play in the right steering stick than left steering stick. Dozer will turn to left easy in any gear. When I try to turn to the right I have to pull the stick more and harder especially in a lower gear. Any idea what may be going on? This is my first dozer and it has 1480 original hours when I purchased from state forestry. What does the unit on top of the transmission do where the steering adjustment linkage attaches to a valve body?

Thanks,

Tim[/b]
