450c winch question

Hello all hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I am looking at a 450c with a winch on the back. Is the winch hydraulically run or off of a pto? If it is run off a auxilary hydraulic valve can I disconnect the winch and use that valve/circuit to run a grapple?? Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks Howard

Lots of 450 winches out there, you can tell if it is a 450 winch if the input shaft is centred. They run off a live out put shaft and is operated by a cabled lever. I think my dad has a pile of 4 or 5 of them.

They work well enough, same winch as the older 440 and 540 skidders.
