Changing out drive sprockets

Just got my new drive sprockets for 1966 350 straight and was wondering if u guys would suggest any other maintanence while changing out sprockets. Thanks

I'd check to see if the bearings in the final are good. I usually see if there is an excessive play in the shaft etc.
Change out the gear oil in the finals since you have it half apart.
I usually power wash everything before I work on it as well. That will help you see any loose bolts, or see if anything is broken.
