Your 350 will be a very different beast after your repairs. I wonder what one sounds like without the rattle? Best wishes.

O.K here is where I am at. all parts are done with the exception of the hardening process yet to be completed on the splined hub, this will be done for free as the machine shop is going to slip it in with a large order going to the hardener....so as soon as he gets the order back I will be finishing this project and possibly post a video of my QUIET running 350!!!
main parts - FLYWHEEL # RE15923, ISOLATOR # AT77320, HUB # T78098

Great pics, this shows what the conversion looks like for those considering it.
I had two hubs shipped out this week for broach and heat treat, so I will have enough parts for two conversions in a few weeks. Will be sending a larger batch of hubs out in the not too distant future, so should have more available by Spring sometime.

Very interesting, I can see why the spring thing would be a long term issue.

Lavoy, you replicating all of the parts needed to do this, or are you getting some from deere and some you are making? Are these the parts that JD was offering for an upgrade as jdmarris suggested on the yt site?

Nothing is available from Deere, hasn't been for years.
The flywheels I have or will have are NOS Deere. The hub is obviously being machined, and the isolator in the pic is one of mine.
The kit that Deere supplied is in virtually all aspects identical the one I will have.
