450c Transmission Clutch Shift Linkage Operating Arm removal

Post by JimB » Mon Mar 09, 2015 7:59 am

The pin that sticks out of the SHIFT VALVE OPERATING ARM (AT104925) broke off some how, causing the Neutral Starter Safety Switch (AT14407) to not work as it should.
I need to get the Arm out, but I can not figure out how. Removing the bolts that hold the CAM SHAFT SUPPORT (T35702) will not allow the support to come off the shaft.
Do I have to take the top cover off to get at it or is there another easier way?

Does anyone have an answer how to get the arm out? Do I have to take off the transmission top cover to get at it?

Hello Jim. Could you post some photos of what you are dealing with? Looks like there are some circlips or snap rings in the IPC that might need to be removed but hard to say without seeing how the assembly is installed in the transmission. Also shows the actuating pin as a separate pice that might just thread into the shaft.
