Electric winch for crawler

Post by rock digger » Sat Apr 07, 2012 8:12 pm

Hey Guy's

Some time ago I saw a post about putting a electric winch on the back of a crawler for logging. Has anybody here done this with succes?

If so,I would assume you would need dual batt. and a good alt. to keep up the charge. Any Ideas how to go about this. Anybody have any pictures of such a machine? Thanks to All
There is always another rock under this one!

Keep in mind that most of the electric winches out there will break in to multiple small pieces if you winch something, and then use the crawler to drag with the winch cable.
