Well, I ran my 450C up on some railroad ties set on their sides [nailed a crosspiece on them so it wouldn't roll the ties] -gave me 9 inches more clearance. Made a little ramp to get her up on it and idled her right up there. That was the pretty and easy part. Darn drain plug was froze on and took some convincing to get it tolet loose and then it came out smooth as could be . The resulting drain was mostly brown liquid but nothing hard dropped in the buckets so...
Pulling the filter cover , based on what i learned here , I was prepared for the extra drainage that occured and didn't really kill too much grass in the whole operation. The filter wasn't near as impressive as the one in the picture but did have some gel like stuff on it that cleaned up with fuel, but since I have a new one that's what will go in. Now to fill it and back it off the ties and get into the steering clutch and brake adjustments...
