help for my jd 420

I would like to know the year and the model and I even would like to know how the winch is working (oil)??for my jd420 ?

Even though the decal says 420, what you have is a 40, it will be a 54 or 55. Can't tell for sure on the winch without some more pics of the winch itself, but it appears to be a Gearmatic.
