1960 question?

My crawler was 1 owner until 2 years ago.I was told it was bought new in and was a 1960 model.It has the throttle on the left(i was told "60's were in the middle)The serial number starts with 457.I know it's untouched,is this unusual???

That is the correct year, only the very last 440's had the center throttle.
