CELSESSER - I live metro Detroit we have acerage just north of Hillman. Hillman is halfway between Atlanta and Alpena.

jdemaris - I honestly think people did not do there due dillegence when buying their tracked equipment in the first place. You need to know if parts are available and at what cost. Once they fiqure out the UC cost over 4 grand to fix, they run them to destruction and sell them off as 80% UC. Give me a break!

Owner ran out of work and moved to Vegas. His brother is selling it for him and he just wants it gone.

tiny crawler - just tease me and tell me a 3pt is no sweat. I just need that little bit to push me into the sale. I just can't stop thinking about buying it!

Most "80%" undercarriages I go to see are 80% worn out.

I know Hillman well. Bader Brothers just opened a new John Deere dealership there.

I'll stop buy Baders the next time i'm up there. I usually go to Ginop's.

JDemaris- Thanks for posting the backhoe brochure. I haven't been able to find the 2010 brochure anywhere. Most of the others are posted on Murphy Tractor's website (link for it is in the "Web Links" forum).

Souliog- I know there have been discussions of 3 point hitches added to crawlers before on here- I think it may have been about the 350s but not sure. You can do a search on here and see what posts pop up.
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment

I had a big stock of original sales stuff for 2010 crawlers and sold it all on Ebay years back - around when Ebay first started. Now wish I hadn't. I should never get rid of anything, and the some crawler stuff is kind of scarce. I've been looking for 2010 crawler sales info, and also the 1010 crawler info when sold in Europe (1010 crawler was called the Deere-Lanz) in 1961. Many of those Lanz 1010 crawlers had three point hitches. More scarce here on 1010s, especially the ag-version 1010 crawlers painted green.
