Is anyone interested in a new master shield? The new reproduction master shields are supposed to be done shortly as far as I know. I am considering getting some, but if there is no interest, I probably will not. They are $100. Last I have seen, used ones were bringing $150+, and NOS as high as $300, so that is why I was thinking about the repros for $100. Let me know if you have any interest, and I will see if they are available yet.

Will it fit a 1010? Is it the big broad one that stays in place when you hook up an implement or is it the one that is just barely larger than the 540 shaft that you take off the single stud when you use it?

Yes, it is the master shield, the big one that you use when you have an implement hooked up to the PTO.

I would be interested. Do you have any pics? Cast or stamped steel?
Thanks Dave

I am still kicking the idea around. I want to find out how good of a reproductio they are, and have not gotten that info yet.
I will post here if I get them.

Upon further research, I found out that they are not even available, so I guess it is a moot point for now.
