I need a new rad cap for my 350. A new from Deere is 39.00 which seems ridiculous even for Deere. Does anyone know if an aftermarket off the shelf cap will work for this radiator?

For anyone that is interested I was able to buy a new cap from Federated Auto parts off the shelf for less than $5. It has made a huge difference in cooling.

Yes, it's a 7# cap. Works well so far.

I hoping that the replacement cap that I got this week will fix the mystery radaitor fluid leak. No white smoke when running or murky oil, it just looses ablot a gallon a day when running. The old cap barely stayed on so I think that was were it was going. I replaced the water pump and no leaks from there either.

Yes, that's what was happening to me. Was solved by the new cap. It's a different world when there is no expansion tank to catch the overflow.
