Well, I got one set from JD to take a look.
Looks like a bit out of my ability/equipment.
For those intested:
Pins: heat treated/hardened and ground to size. Approx 50-55 or so hardness. .004 or so over 1"
Bushings: heat treated/hardened and ground to size (outside only on grinding). Approz 60-65 hardness
Lavoy, question (again), What if only the pins are changed to new? It MIGHT be possible to heat treat and polish 1" 4140 steel to make the new pins. If used with old bushing, it would not require quite the close tolerance.
