The 420c parts file is large as it covers 420-430 models of all "types" (15 diferent versions if I remember) I will tell you how to download it right from John Deere: (or any other manual for that matter. Some manuals you can download to your computer (older models) others you view through their site.
go to JD parts site at:
https://jdparts.deere.com/servlet/com.d ... meUnsigned
On the left side of the page click on "JD PARTS CATALOG" just under "Start Searching Here" It will take you to a different page.
You will now see the parts catalog page. Type in 420 in the model search box then hit FIND. In the list you will see
505 - 420 and 430 Tractors
click on that, then it will load up the parts manual into Adobe on your comptuer. Then once loaded (it may take awhile, let it load) (If it hangs on you, try it again - just wait longer) you then have options in Adobe to save the file to wherever you want on your computer. ("Save a copy" top left in Adobe)
