New to crawlers

Well now I delve into the realm of crawlers. All my experience so far has been With JD wheeled tractors. I currently own a 49 MT and restoring a 41 H. I found a 40C and scored it cheap!!! Needs alot of work but as my late Stepdad would say "If it ain't stuck great, if it is all you need is a couple years and a gallon of Marvel Mystery Oil." If anyone has any advise I'd appreciate it.
