Hey Guys,
Hurricane Irene left me about 40 yards of stone, gravel, and mud in my yard. Took the 440 out to clean it up and got it stuck. Got a little bit loose and before I knew it, sinking deep. Two broken come-alongs and alot of sunk firewood got it out. Man was I lucky.

It looked like a goner in the last photo
Glad you were able to get it out without too much trouble.

Thanks Guys,
Not quite sure what happened with the photos. I re-sized to 700 pixels wide but something is not quite right. Anyway, I was lucky. No way to get a wrecker to where the machine was so I would have had to call an excavator...I don't even want to think about what that would have cost me.
Learned a lesson and I'll be a little more careful in the wet stuff.

Usually one good experience like that and you learn how far you should go without getting stuck.
At one time or another I have stuck everything I own, except for my dozer. I guess that means my stuck dozer pictures shouldn't be too far away!!!! I try to become more careful the older I get. Hope it is working...

Nice looking machine. Definitely an "uh oh" moment. I try to make friends with people who own bigger machines for just these moments, and as already said, we all try hard to avoid them; not always possible however. We had a bit of mud our way too. Glad to see you got your dozer out, hopefully without too much strain on you or the machine. Paul
