I hope you (and everyone on the board) had a good Thanksgiving.
As Lavoy and JD440ICD2006 said, you really do not want to have grouser tracks on a loader machine. I can understand the reluctance to go through the time and expense of replacing them. Maybe if you buy the parts machine you can use its pads. They are compatible as long as they match your current chains by being either being two bolt or four bolt.

If you do keep the grouser pads, you may have success if you change your turning method. Never lock one track completely when turning. Brake it slightly but make sure it is always turning some. Your turn will be wider but it is a good practice to have with any undercarriage that is worn or has a tendency to jump. If the chain starts to come over the rollers stop immediately and reverse direction.

Also, a picture is worth a thousand words. If you could post a digital picture of your rollers and idlers it might help some folks identify where the wear is and what might be causing it. Gil

When I get it all apart again I will see if I can get some pictures. My problem is to try and figure out how to make the darn computer to work.

Go nextdoor and see if they have a teenager.

One topic thread by Tigerhaze discusses the process of getting a picture on this board.
