Anyone seeking 1010 crawler-loader diesel parts?

Post by jdemaris » Fri Dec 23, 2011 9:14 am

I'm not trying to sell anything. I just found a "disabled" 1010 late-model crawler loader with the 144 diesel engine. Has all new Berco undercarriage. It's been sitting for 10 years. It supposedly ran when parked but who knows? I do not want the entire machine. I made an offer on the complete undercarriage. This is in the Albany area of New York. If the guy sells me the undercarrige, the rest is up for grabs.

It's a later 1010 with the transmission shifter down below and not in the dash. Has a stack of counterweights in back (no ripper).

If interested post here and I'll give you the contact info. He might sell me all the rollers, tracks and sprockets for $1500 and says they are new. He thinks they are for a 350, but that remains to be verified.

I looking for a diesel injector pump (Roosa Master DBGVC429-1J) and fuel lines. I'd be interested in contacting the seller if the machine goes for parts. Thanks.

I'm away from home and don't have my computer with me. I.e. I don't remember the guy's email address. The ad was on Craigslist yestersay and now I can't find it. I'm wondering if he deleted the ad already? He sent me an email yesterday with photos and agreed to sell me the tracks, sprockets and rollers. So, now I don't know what the heck is going on.

When I get back home I'll post his email address. I know he lives in the Averill Park area of New York near Albany. The ad listed it as a 1010 Deere crawler loader with new tracks that fit any 2010, 350, or 450 . That is obviously wrong. But the guy sent me the photo and it is clearly a late model 1010 diesel. He told me the tracks were "special" because they have four-bolt pads. I told him all 1010s came with four-bolt pads and the parts do not fit 450s. I hope I didn't tick him off. I asked him to measure the track bushings OD so I can tell if they are 1010 or 350 tracks.
