Lubrication of Idlers on 440 IC

I am doing maintanence on my 1959 440 IC gas. On the support idlers I just put in 80 weight oil till it overflowed. I got to my Rollers of which there are five on each side and noted I seem to have a problem. Only three of them on each side have what I think is referred to as a Button Head Fitting. I took those out and noticed grease inside. I plan on putting Corn Head Grease in those. The manual said a special grease gun came with crawler. I guess I will just have to try to squirt grease inside hole somehow. The other problem is two of the rollers on each side have no Button Head fitting and just a very small hole (smaller than a Button Head Fitting would go in). What do I do with them? Was this small hole for some kind of alamite fitting? Am I missing something. Any advice would be helpful.

Use a pistol grip gun, that is about the best option now as far as the gun.
You will need to get an end for the gun to grease the button head fittings. You could maybe use one of the large rubber tip needles, not sure.
The other rollers may be later oil lube rollers, not sure.

On these later oil lube rollers I see no way to lubricate them. If I'm understanding correctly are they permantly sealed and require no lubrication?

That is what they are called, although there is an oil fill hole on them some place to put in oil after they are assembled. It won't hurt anything to check the oil level in them, and if low, fill back up.

They may be BERCO rollers. The Bercos are sealed non-greasable bearings.

If someone put normal zerk fittings instead of button heads in the rollers, they may have broken off. Look closely and see if the small hole you see is actually the hole of the inside of a zerk fitting that has sheared off. If it is, you can remove the remains of the zerk with a backout.

I had tried to look at the small hole after cleaning it. I just could not tell. I am going to try and clean them better and see what I can tell. Sounds like a logical explanation though unless like others suggested and they are sealed rollers. Thanks.
