1010 crawler parts needed

looking for the springs that go on the footbrakes, they are on the underside hooked to the pedal and frame. and also what does the lever do on the dash to the far left mine just flops up and down. thanks

If I remember right, the lever on the far left of the dash is the reverser lever.

the lever on the left is the reverser for the tractor. If the lever is working, step on the clutch and pull the lever, the crawler will travel in the opposite direction at the same speed it was going forward.
If the lever is not working, the cable may be broken or just disconnected, If the cable is broken, they are still available through Deere last I looked, but it is over $200. for it.
