1010 Brake bolt

Post by blackadarn » Thu Apr 26, 2012 7:04 pm

I was in the process of adjusting the steering and brakes when I notice the right side brake assembly seem off. After looking around to see what the problem was, I notice that the bolt that goes thought the housing that holds the brake assembly in place was broke.
Has this happen to anyone else? Can I take the fender off and drill it and use use a easy out to turn it out or do I need to do a complete tear down to remove the broking bolt?
Any insight would be great.

That is not a bolt, that is the brake anchor. Only way to repair to remove the final drive and replace the anchor.

Don't know, but it is not at all uncommon, I have had lots of requests for them over the years.
