Hi guys. I am new to this site I found very reassuring because sometimes there are things that seem impossible, but it's amazing what the members have done. Well yes, I recently bought a JD 350 loader bulldozer and I have to change the steering clutches. From what I saw on the site I am not alone and I'm probably not the last! .. So I have to order parts and I am a little confused. My papers recording the tractor weighing 5,600 KG with the serial number and NIS 7350006292W year 1972. The model number located near the driver's seat is T21358T. The engine number is T24963 and that of the transmission is T20878T JD accompanied by a star. I know that's a lot of questions and lots of information, but I live in Canada and I want to avoid mistakes before ordering parts. Thank you in advance .....

Good morning Benard, and welcome to the board-
There is a FAQ post about serial numbers for 350s here:
http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/ ... light=350d
As you will see near the bottom of the thread I linked to, the "serial number" on your paperwork is actually the loader attachment serial number, not the crawler's serial number.
The other numbers you found appear to be part numbers rather than serial numbers. While they can sometimes be used to narrow down the serial number range, you are better off finding the serial number tag first as sometimes parts are swapped in and out from other machines. Was the number you found on the left or right side of the driver's seat? Serial numbers on 350s are found near the seat as described here:
http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/ ... r+location
Take a look again and let us know what you find.

Hello Gary (tigerhaze). Thank you for responding. Now that I found my serial number, how to know if the original bulldozer loader is the workshop or if the loader was added later? Comparing the first digit of the serial number with a friend they are the same T4F3D. His is a straight bull and mine is equipped with a loader!
FTD is dozer, diesel, reverser.
None of this really matter as far as steering clutches, they are all the same if dry.

For everyone's benefit, Benard's crawler is a 1966 straight 350, based on the serial number he provided.
