I would like to know the gpm flow of the hyd pump on my 1957 420.Going to make it power angle and I'm going to up grade orginal hyd valve to a new 2 spool valve.Lavoy, you propably know the answer to my question.Thanks

The Service manual states 900-950 psi at 9 gpm. I purchased a standard high pressure directional control valve and plumbed a inline poppet pressure relieve valve before the valve body. Baileynet.com part number 222-785. I did all of this when I made a 3 way blade for my 420.

Thats the info I'm looking for, although I didn't figure the psi was that low.My new valve has an adjustable relief so will have to adjust it.Thanks for your help.

Most high pressure valves will only go down to 1500PSI or so.
