Merry Christmas

Post by Paul Buhler » Sun Dec 23, 2012 4:20 pm

Went out today and needed to fire up the dozer to bring in some more firewood. Wind is blowing and snow is accumulating. Fuel on -switch on, two cranks and off she goes. Ah...a merry and warm Christmas.

Happy holidays to everyone on the board, and may your toys all start when you want them to. Paul

Although i dont have a 2 cyl JD gas engine..the music of my Detroit in the 440 and the turbo of my 450C sure warms me up and brings out the festive feeling of the time. Merry Xmas to all !!!!

I looked at my 440 gas...
Maybe tomorrow.
Had my Cummins 4 cylinder diesel running to move some round bales for the cattle.

Merry Christmas,
Duke

Yes, best wishes and a merry Christmas to everyone.

Now, lets see some pictures of these 2 cylinders in action.

My 440 re-builder went in the shop yesterday to thaw out, hopefully I will be able to have some pictures of it pushing some snow before the new year. I'm starting on it on the 27th. Otherwise going to be difficult to get a 2 cylinder running as its about -25 degree celcius up here in the north.

The only thing I had stroking after getting up at 3:00 a.m. was the cummins in the bus to get down town on time to catch my suttle to get back to my truck and head home to have a great time with my wfie, children, grandchildren, and my mom and some good eats and when they left I immeadily sawed logs (slept).
I want to wish every one a Merry Christmas and with Lavoy's help a Happy New Year.
p.s. Like the story in the Green Magizeen keep them 2 clyinders tuned up you never know when santa may need some help.

Happy Holdidays to all! Mines will start tomorrow when I get out of the mine. I heard Santa's rig got stuck in a snowbank around here... The reindeers were not able to pull it out. Guess what happened? A guy in the neighbourhood with a 440 equipped with a gearmatic winch pulled the rig out... Apparently the guy received his present right away and there was a remains of a shipping sticker on the box where we could read North Dakota or something... Strange... Maybe Santa Claus opened a branch over there...
