Finally got to drive the new diesel around in the snow, no blade or anything, but just couldn't resist. Seemed to blow a lot of sparks out of the muffler once in a while, not sure if this is some unburned fuel or what, anyone else have this happen?

Soot
Unburned fuel that ends up as soot will come out as sparks, impressive at night for sure. Both of mine do it if they are left to idle for long periods. Tom
There was a little bit of slobber, so I wonder if there was some unburnt fuel in the muffler. Sooner or later I am going to put it on the dyno and let it howl for a while, and then see if it still has any slobber. Kind of thinking about putting injectors in it.
