Hello all.
I have been looking off and on for a crawler for some time now. I came across a potential 1948 MC. I don't have the serial numbers yet but looking at the pics in the ad I see the Drive sprocket has round holes (like a 420) instead of the spokes I see in most of the pics that I can find. Are these the correct drive sprockets for a 1948 (or 1949) MC?
The crawler runs and steers good, It does need one roller otherwise the tracks look pretty good. do you think it is worth $3000?
I tried linking to a pic, I hope is shows up.
Thanks for your help.
Identifying MC
No, those are 420, 430, 440 sprockets someone has put on there. You are also missing track frame covers, and expect to put in more than one roller, that is just the nature of a 3 roller crawler.
Pretty good looking crawler, and as long as the rest of it is good, not a bad price.
