It crawles backwards when in neutral even when you put in low using clutch &first let out it will crawl backwards then forwards

Thanks for info, You may be on to something . Can push clutch pedel all the way in ,put HLR in low let out on pedal it will creep backwards . I had the top off tranmission ,clutches looked ok. I could have missed something. Put a new engine clutch in it and had bell housing off should have pulled HLR out then. Hate to take back apart as they are a BEAR to work on. It seems to work ok in reverse.

Bad bearings
My un-educated guess is that the bearings in the HLR are toast.

Well guess i,am going to take in back apart see what I can find. Tried the linkage ajustment . I ,am thinking about getting a 450g dozer are these good dozers.

I hope found the problem broken disk spring ,holds reverse piston in
