when working properly tach will read twice cable speed .5 to 1
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper

Thanks for the input fellas! I got the tachometer working properly. It's nice to see it working again.

I'm rebuilding a 420 with a tachometer and was wondering if the drive cable is run threw the grommet in the gas tank support or how it is supported. I like to keep things original.
I understand the tachometer is different than the wheeled tractors is it because of the different ground speed?

No, tach cable clamps to the side of the gas tank support with a P clip.

the RPM part is the same ...just the speedometer part is different i have a wheel tach on my 2010s i dont care about the MPH just the RPM
