2010 starting issues

Post by jhv1050 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 3:59 pm

Info on this site is great, I have been following for some time while working on my 2010 crawler. have had difficulty starting the old girl for as long as I've had this machine. had pump and injectors rebuilt last summer ( helped some) finally broke down and replaced glow plugs. What a difference. before, anything below 50 degrees and almost impossible to start. now with the new glow plugs, at 30 degrees with 3 pumps of the primer. it fires right off.
it's the little things that usually make the biggest improvements.
thanks for everyone's knowledge.
I'm looking to buy a 450 dozer so I know the info on this site will help with that one also.
