Clutch Facing AM3791T vs. AM2575T

Post by foxd » Sun Mar 24, 2013 4:53 pm

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these clutch facings?
In the 420/430 parts book, the AM3791T is listed for crawlers (C), while the AM2575T is listed for all others (H,I,S,T,U,V & W). Will the AM2575T not work crawlers? Thanks - Dave

I have been told the clutch facing for the crawler is a heavy duty one compared to the other one for the wheeled tractors.

The wheel tractors ran a cushioned disc and standard plate. Crawler ran a non-cushioned plate, and what they refer to as a "cushioned" pressure plate. The cushioned pressure plate is no longer available, not sure which disc is still available. I stock the rigid disc and non-cushioned pressure plate.
The original rigid disc does indeed appear to be a heavier duty material, but it as well is obsolete.
