It was mounted on a case 450 of similar age to the 2010. It looks like my 2010 has the mounts for a backhoe on the rear, but I have not measured yet to see how different they are from the case. They are the same style mounts, just not sure on the measurements.
He has a parts machine (case450) that has the backhoe frame on it that I can take, so I figure I can do some cutting/welding to make the case frame mount to my JD backhoe frame.
I know it will take a little work, but I am getting the backhoe for free so I figure its worth the effort. Worst case I can take the frame to a prof. welder to do the fabricating if I don't think I am up for it.
You guys think I am crazy or does this make sense?

I snapped a few pictures of the backhoe. The mounts will work, just need to do some cutting and welding.
The main issue is that the boom cylinder(think its called that) has a large crack running all the way down the length of the cylinder. I assume this means I need a new cylinder...there is no way that can be repaired, right?
