Well I pulled the timing cover off my pump and saw the mouse turds/coffee grounds under the cover. I have a 450B non turbo charged. I flushed it out by letting the diesel drip out. I'm sure this debris did not just happen in the last couple of days it may have been there for some time. If I continue to use the crawler will I cause damage. The machine runs good. No problem with throttle control.
Secondly if I decide to pull the pump can i leave the drive shaft engaged to the drive gear and just pull the pump off the shaft. It seems like alot less work than trying to get the shaft off the drive gear.
